West Yorkshire Spinners have taken their inspirational love of wool one step further with Wool Revival DK. With every spin, there is an excess amount of material that would usually wind up as ‘waste’. They are taking that waste and making it into something beautiful.

West Yorkshire Spinners start by collecting all this valuable and perfectly good fibre which is then sent to  their local production partner to card, comb and convert back into tops before it arrives back at the mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out again to be dyed locally, and once dyed, it’s back to West Yorkshire Spinners for finishing, balling and packing. Sustainability is at the heart of everything that the company does, and all of this takes place within a 10-mile radius – something which they’re, understandably, extremely proud of.

Composition: 80% Recycled British Wool, 20% Recycled Nylon

Weight: 100g ball

Meterage: approx 225 metres (246 yards)

Tension 10cm / 4 inches: 28 Rows x 22 Stitches

Recommended Needles: 4mm (UK8/US6)

Care Instructions: Machine wash at 40°. Do not tumble dry. Reshape while damp.
